i'm still wary as to if it'll actually show up on the shelves, but supposedly, it's coming soon and there are a few samples of the tunes out there.

here's the title track. if you were never a GNR fan, this may not effect you. if you were [as i was], it may grow on you. i'm not blown away by it, but i'm not repulsed by it, either.

I only liked a couple of songs. I always thought Axl was a huge douchebag. From walking off the stage in the middle of the show, to forcing his band members to sign away their rights to the band, he's a huge A-Hole.

I'll wait to hear any songs from their new album when it hits radio.

Ha Ha i posted links over at the Anthrax forum. ;)

MyH - i see your sig 100,000 times and i still laugh each time.

I think I was in 2nd grade when I got in trouble for singing some Beastie Boys songs and Paradise City. I LOVED GnR back when growing up..this song wasn't bad..but its like 20 years too late. Axl..allthough a HUGE shitbag fucktard..always had an awesome voice.

i can kind of agree with this, but since about 90% of what's out there today is crap, i'll take this and be glad Axl isnt rapping [oh, GEEZ... somebody assure me there'll be NO Korn-inspired rap crap on this thing].

as for Axl's voice, it's amazing and unique in the studio, but live he sounds like a cat being castrated, slowly, one nad at a time.

Lots of bands are studio bands..like..they can't replicate the same sound live. From my own personal experience there have been a few bands who could totally shred face live like on the cd; Pantera, Weezer, Gojira, Amon Amarth, Shinedown. Those bands...out of the COUNTLESS rock/metal acts I've seen..did the best. I saw GnR in the early ninties and they were pretty good...but I also think Thundercats was a good show (I know its awful)

I'm with ya on that. I would've loved to have seen Vince Neil beat the crap of Axl.

It's coming soon... they have been saying it for ten years but whatever, they did record something and I've heard four songs already I guess. It kinda sucks. Don't know why so much hype and why it took them so long. The songs are as generic as they could be.
