Chinese Democracy?

this is getting to be a really funny thread.. 99% of the bands you guys listen to are influenced from the 80's metal-thrash-hard rock-poser-glam
call it what you want era... period!:heh:

This is proof that the 80's was not about big hair, pink guitars, too much distortion and shredding:

Haaaahaahaaa. Good old Vinnie Vincent. LOL I know I'll get crucified for this, but if you don't have to look at him or listen to his ridiculous solos, some of the songs are really good and well written, and have great production. Now, excuse me while I dodge the arrows about to be shot at me. :)

I actually get a kick out of Vinnie Vincent, because it does have that fuckin' "in your face"-attitude, but its even more over the top then Nitro!

You say one thing, your posts say another... either way this is silly.

Gosh dang schnuckerpoops, I totally forgot that I was serious the whole time! :erk:

Without humor or expression of happiness I communicate within my own mind that this is contrary to reason or propriety.

No, you may not have been serious but you seem to have a tendency to assume that I'm serious more often than I am.

i think you guys are too harsh maybe too metal:p i think anybody over 30 may like this i think im getting too old anyway im glad i lived the 80's:kickass:

I am 32 and thought the album was not memorable at all, found myself skipping ahead to the next track after a minute or so. The only track I found myself thinking about after listening to it was "Better", and even that track had a horrid intro. I expected alot better, especially after so many years in the making

+1... i was also expecting something better anyway:erk:

'There was a time' actually sounds fucking great. Great soloing going on there. I just wish more of the songs on the album would be of that same caliber.

The rest of the album sounds quite mediocre after a few listens to be honest. Only 'Better', 'Sorry' and 'This I Love' are worthy of a mention.
