Best album of this millennium? Certainly.
Lateralus > Choirs of the Eye > everything else.

I've heard I think 6 real masterpieces of the 2000's so far.

Yep cause there are more than 6 :)

Why everyone remains silent about the new Gayo Dot ?

lateralus was my absolute fave for a few years, it's a goddamn masterpiece of tripped out hard rock

Dev: I think the new one is almost as good as "Choirs". That said, I've only listened to it 1/10 the amount of times, so...

Because it's only been out for a month and absorption time for their albums is much longer...I think it stands at least a 50/50 chance of overtaking Choirs, depending on how often I resist the temptation to skip track 4 once the drone begins...Gemini, Asylum Wall, and Amaranth are all fucking brilliant.

I've only listened to the first track of Dowsing Poops in the Copper Poop Machine. Until I can really dedicate the time to it, I'm not going to listen. I don't want to listen to it casually and say "meh," I'd rather wait for the right moment. Or something.

motw and kd both stay in my rotation for the same reason as Ellestin's ambivalence. I have both Choirs and Anemone (as I suggested by writing a thread here a billion years ago)

Next challenge!!! Toby Driver's solo album. I stopped after listen #1

Oh, and Aenima >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lateralus
