Recording Notes:
Guitars were recorded with a Schecter C-7 Hellraiser. We put new strings on it and recorded it into a Countryman 85 DI which was fed into my True Precision 8 preamp. We then re-amped it through both a ENGL Powerball 2 and a Peavey 6505. Both were through a Port City 2×12 with V30s. We just used an SM57 angled slightly up from the cone. The 5150 tracks were higher gain, but mixed in about -11db from the Powerball tracks.
Bass was just an Ibanez BTB 5 string fed into the 85 and True Pre. It was then melodyned heavily to keep the pitch super consistant.
Drums are Superior Drumer + Metal Machine. Toms are all the Ludwig ones from Metal Machine.
Vocals were all recorded into an SM7B through a Mobile Pre.

P.S My ACTUAL session (cleaned up a bit) is in the raw files zip file (I had 2 or 3 people ask me last week so I figured why not). That way you can examine my routing at your own pace if you'd like. I also bounced a mixdown of my drum mix which is in the download as well, for those that don't have access to any MIDI drums at all. If you have any questions, toss em my way.
