I'm just curious as to what goes through your mind music-wise

For instance, when i play, i tend to think about the theory of what im playing, just the scales and chord degrees and whatnot, I'm curious, with your music backround, if you see the notes in your head at all while playing, or just what does go through your head

I think quite theoretically as well, and sometimes I even think about how my hand looks while playing it and how it sounds obviously, I'd be interested to also learn your thoughts...

same here, what I find helps, is picturing my guitar teacher over my shoulder going, NO YOU'RE PLAYING IT TOO FAST, SLOW DOWN

Heh, with the amount of years I've been playing slow you'd think I could record with Dragonforce and have to have my solos slowed down. Guess it doesn't work when you don't keep it us every day.

You just gotta gradually speed up with a metronome as you nail the slower speeds... I suppose there is a point where u just can't physically play any faster... I really hope I haven't reached that point yet...
