I'm not sure why people are saying they need to give this several listens...sure, there is no doubt it's a grower, but to me, I was blown away on one listen and I haven't even heard the last few tracks yet.

I have to point out, listening to "10,000 Days (Wings part 2)" last night really took me by surprise. Quite honestly, it was a friggin' religious experience! The vocals are out of this world.

Quite easily one of the best songs I've heard in a long while.

EDIT: By the way, I don't know anything about Tool fanboys or their forums etc. I'm not swayed in any direction based on hype -- I think Aenima is excellent, and I never honestly gave Lateralus much of a chance. But this new one is just fitting like a glove.
