Hi, we are Chronicler, a two man melodeath / symphonic death metal band from Finland. We have been compared to Wintersun, Aether Realm, and even called an "Eternal Tears of Sorrow clone", which we find quite funny as neither of us actively listens to EtoS (We are honored by the comparisons to Wintersun though, as it is one of our biggest influences) 
Were we to describe our music ourselves we might describe it as a less technical, more symphonic, version of early Children of Bodom, though in all honesty we don't think that is exactly accurate either.
We released our first EP last March, our first ever single yesterday, and are now working on our second EP which will be released early next year.
