Anyone else like this band? If it weren't for the Queensryche influences I'd probably write them off as a DT clone, but even as such, they're better than DT in my opinion. "Wither" is a great tune with great dynamics.

I'd like to dislike this band because I've got full balls of prog-metal, but I just can't say no. It's like taking the technical side of DT and mixing it with a band who can actually write good songs.

CM rule, they're like a good mixer with SX. Although I can't stand CM in high doses, whereas I could listen to SX all day long.

I listen to CM. I wouldn't say they're better than Dream Theater, though. Maybe post 1999 Dream Theater, but that's pushing it.

I have never been a fan of Dream Theatre, yet I like a lot of other bands that are in a similar vein, weird.

I'm a big CM fan i listen to them DT, Andromeda and SX equally. they write some cool songs, i especially like Sin.

I haven't really sat down and listened to Isolate.

Hell yeah! I dig CM. Great music, great writing, just all around great band. I also like DT, although I haven't cared for much of there stuff in quite awhile. There latest is pretty good though.

Isolate was one of my favorite albums from last year. You've essentially got Circus Maximus, Pagan's Mind, and Zero Hour holding up the tatters of the awesome Prog metal banner, and the rest of the bands are just staring at each other... mimicking.

don't really find them too interesting.

the one traditional prog album I dug this year was the Seventh Wonder album.

very similar style to CM but the win is in the choruses for SW. Fantastic singer and very catchy choruses.

total prog cheesefest too, some concept about a dying child or something gay with bad dialogue and everything.

When I listen to it I feel like its 1997 again when I was getting into Shadow Gallery, Eternity X and stuff like that.
