Whos going? last time i went to see DT at Nalen in stockholm, it wasnt bad but the audience was hopeless...apart from a retarded superdrunk skinhead that kept bouncing around even intbetween the songs and eventually got kicked out, there wasnt much activity at al. i dont know if was dt, or that the metalaudience in stockholm in general maybe isnt that great? Despite the fact of firing off their biggest hits in very beginning of their set, it was a decent show. Anwyays, im considering taking the train to Gbg to see them in their hometown, anybody that got experience from DT in gbg?

DT is playing the best music in my ears. And this is the very first time I will see them live. And that will be in Malmö. I have heard of that Nicklasson has left the band, and I have heard how good live performance he has been doing, so I will sadly miss him cuase I would really want to see him at least once.
But I am also happy that DT will play some old songs wich I really look forward to.

I can't wait until november 21.

:)

going to the malmö show, Stanne was talking about playing classics from skydancer and also playing edenspring..............the greatest show ever?

They are planning on doing that for the whole tour. Greatest tour ever? Yes.

Afaik they will play some older songs on the whole tour including Milano which means it will also be on the DVD. So no real need for a camera. Maybe they will have some variation in the setlist though.

Stanne comments on upcoming tour - October 22, 2008

We have been working extremely hard to make the upcoming tour a very special event, both for us and for the audience. To commemorate the fact that next year marks our 20th anniversary, we've revamped the setlist and will offer an extensive collection of songs representing all facets of our career. The music ranges from material written 1992 to "Fiction" tracks never before performed live, so all in all it'll be a dynamic mixture of old and new material.

As most of you know, the Milan show on October 31 will be recorded for an upcoming DVD, and this evening will feature a guest musician as well as some other surprises. We're also taking the opportunity to bring in a more extensive stageshow than usual for the whole tour, this time centered around custom animations/projections.

These shows also mark the end of the "Fiction" touring cycle. After this trip, we'll lock ourselves up in the dark confines of the rehearsal room to focus on the songwriting for the next album, so we recommend everyone to catch us on this tour, as it'll be the last chance for quite some time in most territories. However, a few select shows for 2009 are already being planned.

i reckon the special guest will be the female singer in the mundane and the magic. cant wait for the malmö date

this just gets better and better.... I think it will be the best DT tour in history! What about Edlund from tiamat?
