anyway, alexi has his amp settings to treble 10, bass 10, mid-boost 7-8 (sometimes he switches the bass and the mid)... gain 3 and master 7. i might be off on some of the numbers, but try that and adjust it to how your amp sounds. Just like the prodigy himself says:

One thing for sure, Alexis tone is mid based, so crank em, bass ehh for my "COB" setup I don't use much of it, highs - cranked, gain...depends on alot of things. As it's been said before just mess around with the settings.
On a side note, is all this cob/alexi bashing shit getting old for anyone else? So they put out a bad album, so what? I like a song or two from it and while it's not even close to their best I can't say it's the worst album to come out, grow up, bashing the band won't help it and won't change anything, some of you, it seems to me, just bash them because everyone else is doing it.

Alright, alright I admit I'm getting sick of the whole COB bashing thing, but COB never had good tone even prior to Are You Dead Yet? When I said "turn the shit knob to 10" I meant the gain knob. Turning the gain to 10 produces the kind of tone that COB uses, but doesn't necessarily sound good. Eventually you will realize that the key to getting a heavy tone isn't by going overboard with distortion.
