COB Interviews

I own a Juno-D Roland and a RR24M, I can take pics so you can see inside my psychopatic dungeon. I haven't played much at all this year tho. I still like having the instruments around so I'm not thinking of selling them atm. It was fun to start the drinking day by playing some Bodom, but I became sober over a year ago so it's different.

Why won't you just list all the creative stuff about RRF. I know what's good about it, but tell me what's so fantastic about those verses which I think are boring. Like the verses in Cry of the Nihilist, you only have a flat drum pattern and an uncreative rhythm riff with retarded vocals.

I'd have deleted my account long ago if I could, but there's no such option on this forum. I like pissing you guys off but the reason is I'm supposed to use my creative hand at something else and it's just so familiar to come here and post some shit when back home and eating something, but I realize I waste my everyday portion of literal madness on this dead community.

 I guess it's senseless to argue with you

Why would you have to drink to play guitar? That is just silly lol.

I won't lay claim to being the best guitarist here by any means, but I practice a couple times a week at least. I couldn't imagine going a year with my guitar just sitting there not getting use.

Honestly though, Bodom has kind of went the opposite direction as far as writing. A long time ago their riffs were pretty damned simple. Very basic, power chord driven stuff with a few little melodies over the top and then amazing solos... Starting on Hate Crew Deathroll a little bit and then more on AYDY they started writing some really complex riff work but the solos, to me, aren't nearly as interesting. They're still damned good, but they aren't as over-the-top shreddy as they were on FTR for instance. From a musical context, and even technical, the new albums are still pretty good by Bodom standards. To me some of it might sound pretty generic after listening to other bands, but never the less, it's still pretty challenging to play. Some of it might be simple, but a majority of the stuff on AYDY and even a few songs off of Blooddrunk are still pretty challenging rythymically.

Also, it's not hard to break a habit like coming to this place. If you really wanted your account deleted that badly do what a few other people have done and just post some porn and get perma-banned. End of story. And try to use your "creative hand" to pick up your guitar and start exploring music a bit more. Don't own one just for the sake of doing so, there is a lot of good music out there to discover whether or not you want to admit it to yourself. You honestly for your own sake need to get off of this forum though because you obviously aren't meshing with anyone here, and while you think you're making people mad you're just making those people think you're a social retard. If you have that much free time, go pick up your guitar and really put in the time to learning it and playing things cleanly.

Couldn't say it better. There's nothing more to add. It's the hard truth but still polite.
I think most people here would just be better off blocking him :l

I thought about it a few times but it's the same with a car accident or something really ugly... You won't watch it but for some reason you can't avert your eyes off it.

What's new in your world with the music stuff Arcane? I've been wondering when people like you and Mitch are going to start some badass bands that way I can say I remember when you guys used to rape Bodom covers on youtube lol.

Also, ipot

For me Bodom is one of the "hardest" Bands to play. I mean, look at some other Bands like Rise Against, Disturbed or even Bullet For My Valentine.
I Know, its not the same Genre. But that are the more "popular" bands.

Ahh yeah, Trivium, Kalmah, Norther are also hard to play. But i think bodom stays on top :D

Nothing new from my situation. I'm the same bedroom guitarist I was years ago, doing the same covers I did years ago - just with a bit better equipment and better playing ;)
But I'm not that much into guitar playing I was a few years ago. Now I upload a new cover every 3 months or so whereas I uploaded one every week when I was younger. I don't have that much time for guitar playing and I'm too lazy to learn some new stuff. I'm getting old

lol, you're not too old until you're dead man. I know what you mean with the being busy part though. I barely ever pick up my guitar now days, and when I do it's just to practice enough to where I don't completely lose my ability to play :/
