Wow very nice, a classic in its own right!

i kind of sort of almost really like the latest riot album. idk if they ever actually broke up at any point though

I consider Tony Moore coming back in as a new "milestone", and then him leaving again and the new one with Todd another "start (even with the name change to Riot V). Hell I even like Unleash the Fire more so than Tony's contribution, great stuff.

Candlemass' eponymous album came as a positive surprise to me.

Mekong Delta's Wanderer on the Edge of Time is excellent, my favorite and pretty different for them too.

This one also came to my mind.

I'll second this. If we're counting huge gaps between album releases than Eyehategod's self-titled deserves mention. And fucking Godflesh's A World Lit Only By Fire.
