does anyone remember that competition a little while back? what the hell happened with that?

Yes, I remember it, and I was wondering the same thing.

Yeah, although it may look like it was a simple question, yet..
i doubted two answers.
It was first at hand to say Paul Simon but the song is registered in
"my bible" (music-catalog, it's a huge book and when i need to look up stuff, i tell costumers i will need to have a look in my bible)
as being owned by Simon AND Garfunkel.
What did you guys fill in?
I'm curious...

It was originally a CM competition,
I guess they picked the winners and sent off the prices...

none of us will meet them in our country. and I just thought how nice it would be to have them in Croatia.... don't know for what reason though...
