Complete this CSI: Miami comic strip

As a professional in the field of comedy, I'd like to support cookiecutter's stance that these comics are largely played out. There is still potential for humor when they are taken in a different direction. The Billy Mays comic, for example.

Well I think incorporating a sexist joke into the CSI strip was pretty clever, and could be considered 'taking the material in a different direction'.

But the main thing is that, for the love of god, a joke does not have to be original to be funny. There are plenty of unoriginal jokes here, and the extraordinary degree to which cookie bitches about Ozzman's sexist jokes is, I think, an indicator that either he discriminates unfairly against the jokes or he just has a grudge against Ozzman.

I just don't think they're funny and they've been the same for what seems like forever. HAHA WOMEN SHOULD BE IN KITCHEN HAHA. It has nothing to do with Ozzman besides him having about two jokes he repeats incessantly

The only reason it's irritating is because people take it too seriously. I'm not serious 98% of the time I'm on here. I don't give a fuck if you find this shit irritating. If it bothers you that much, put me on ignore.

I must be on everyone's ignore lists, because my genius cartoons and witty replies are not garnering the responses they warrant.

I liked the one where Horatio's head exploded.

In general though, the gory ones aren't as clever as the ones that actually depend on the dialogue boxes for humor.

Hey man, I am thinking outside the sanity, man! I guess all you sheep just can't handle something new and fresh.

What exactly is "new and fresh"?

The CSI comics, in and of themselves, got old long ago. Yes, David Caruso spits up a one liner, slips on his shades and we jump into the nonsensical theme song. Ok. Good. Got it. Only need to see it three or four times.

The humor here lies in two places:

1- The pun itself. I, for one, think puns are fucking stupid and annoying anyway. Maybe you think they're funny, but it doesn't matter. In this case, you're laughing at the pun and the comic has nothing to do with it (or at least it shouldn't at this point).

2- Being offensive for the sake of offensive. Guys, South Park came out in like 1997. Being totally un-PC to the max has become fucking trite, which is very sad. It's easy and literally anyone can do it.

Billy Mays, on the other hand, is always fucking funny because he continues to be a real guy who really does act like that. I like the post above mine, too.
