Anyone have em?

My lovely girlfriend just bought a set for me for my birthday and they are out of this world. They are called Sonogistix (sp?) Monsoon's. They provide a tremendous audio experience.

I have a sub/sat system from Harman Kardon ... came with my Dell and sounds OK. The highs are a little shitty, but the bass is good. Now that I have a ton of MP3's, I am looking for something better and settled on these: http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=103

As soon as I have some Paypal money will look on Ebay for them.

Do you have more info on yours? I tried searchin for them but could not find anything.

Mine sound pretty okay, a subwoofer (4" speaker, haha BUMPIN!!!) and two others for mid and high range. Some no name brand that came with my PC. Fine for gaming, and music sounds alright at low volumes, but I generally just use my headphones.

i usually use my headphones as well, partly because i still live (not for long mind you ;)) at home and my parents do not share my musical preference and partly because my speakers are rather crappy, they can't produce good a sound when the music becomes more fast and extreme :|
i've got a pretty decent cd player and amplifier (both of em made by NAD btw  ) that would make good use of a proper pair of speakers, now it's just the problem of money that needs to be solved

hehe, well i always thought you choose that nick since you where an hardcore audiophile and worshiped that brand of electronics :D

NAD stuff is awesome ... I used to have a THX Certified power amp from them about 8 years ago and that bad boy was amazing.
They are originally a UK based co. if I am not mistaken.

I need some recommendations in the 40-50 price range. I don't use the computer much at all to listen to music, mainly tv shows and sheet I dled. Currently using a pair of $15 labtecs that have done the job quite nicely up until recently when one of the speakers went out. Yea, I could go spend another $15 on a set, but hell I feel like splurging, so hit me baby one more time.
