As of now, I am using the family Mac for all my recording. They don't appreciate all the stuff I've downloaded and hogging the computer all the time.
So I'm thinking of getting my own CPU. It'd pretty much have to be a laptop. My house is already crammed big time with all my musician equipment, and we have little space for a whole new desktop. What specifications should I look for in my hunt for a laptop? Under a grand is my budget.
