I'm just reading a collection of 5 conan short stories. These are my first conan stories and this far (I've read 3) I've been mainly disappointed. Conan is great character, but the stories are bad. I guess my expectations were too high.

Most of Howard's work is mostly hack n' slash.

Yeah Im very much into Conan, havent been able to get hold of any of the books yet, but I do read everything that comes out in the newsstands here...
