That was the most famous quote, and a good one, but I always liked his dialogue with Crom right before that amazing final standoff...

"Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, and why we died. All that matters is that today, two stood against many. Valor pleases you, so grant me this one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, to HELL with you!"
 
Conan rules, it has been years since I've seen any of them though.

The best classic Ahhhhhnold one-liners come from Red Sonja though, that movie is so crappy!!!
 
Great movie. The commentary on the dvd with Arnold and Milius is some of the best I've ever heard. If you don't have the dvd, get it. If you have the dvd, and haven't watched it with commentary... do it now.

i saw it some days ago, and it rules so much. arnold is such a master of tormented gruffs and groans, gotta love it. i've actually got the version with the comments so i guess i'll check them out asap :)

but what bothers me somewhat about this movie is how much that guy with the huge battle hammer looks just like a member of the the yngwie malmsten-group with that hair and cute little bang. i'm almost half expecting him to produce a guitarr at any moment and start some falsetto singing, very annying anyway hehe

No, no - that's the Manowar look. The Malmsteen look had a glam touch with more perm and a few streaks or highlights.
 
Shit! I'd forgotten about the special features on my DVD! :erk: and I've had it for like three months...
 
hehe just noticed that xasthur has sampled stuff from conan on "the funeral of beeing" that part where thulsa doom says he knows why thet are afraid of the dark etc. thought it was pretty cool :) (crappy cd btw)
 
Forget Xasthur. Listen to Diabolical Masquerade (Deaths Design) if you wanna hear Conan! Both Blakheim and Dan Swano recreated the main signature theme to Conan, and Swano plays one of his finest solos over it.

That sounds slightly reassuring, but who the fuck are they gonna get to play Conan? If it's Vin Diesel or The Rock, I'm boycotting.
