Great movie. The commentary on the dvd with Arnold and Milius is some of the best I've ever heard. If you don't have the dvd, get it. If you have the dvd, and haven't watched it with commentary... do it now.

Hah!!!

I just happened to do this this past weekend, freakin' hilarious stuff, I tell ya.

But really, this is an experience everyone must have.

"Yakin's concept is more faithful to the Howard story than were the two Dino De Laurentiis-produced Conan films that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as the sword-wielding conqueror."

That sounds slightly reassuring, but who the fuck are they gonna get to play Conan? If it's Vin Diesel or The Rock, I'm boycotting.
*keeping fingers crossed for dolph lundgren*

Hehe yes it's quite good; I really like how Arnold at the end of the movie , in the same style as plans made at the peak of an alcoholic evening, seems to realize what a great flick it is and wants to make another one -- a true shame it never happened

Thulsa Doom > Darth Vader

but I say that now only after having seen Annakin as a young boy and teenager. Who would have thought he started off as a brat, turned gay, and then became a masterful Nubian god?

Plus Thulsa Doom can put snakes in a rigor-mortis like trance and turn them into arrows. Let's see the Sith bitch try that.
