Yea.. so i guess it depends of the pedal. Some explodes, some do weird sounds, some fits perfectly..
I know Janne is using a pedal, i don't know wich one. But im still not sure if i can connect it without any risk. Well. Thanks anyway.

back when i was 14 and i played drumset a little i started a rock band with a bassplayer and a keyboard player, we put his keyboards through some cheapo distortion pedal and taught him how to play "powerchords" on the keyboard hahaha it sounded so bad but awesome

It's a Russian Made, Big Muff by Electroharmonix. (Im gettin it next week)
And instead of the JV-2080 he uses. Ill get a Roland Sonic Cell, who is the evolution of the XV, who is an evolution of the JV.
And i already have an x5 keyboard. So, eh.
The only problem is : How to get the perfect patch on the Sonic Cell lol.

Yes it is possible to connect it. Me and my band member who plays keyboard plays through guitar amps/pedals all the time, mind you they are my old guitar pedals that I paid 25 dollars for. Whatever you gotta do to make it loud enough to hear over the drums, right?
Oh well.

doesn't work tried it, i have the jens sound and it sounds similar to Janne's but my distortion is wrong, im using the Big Muff PI like Janne does but his is a green one and i have the black one...
and TS where the hell would you get the idea that it would explode?
Hmm.. on scythes of bodom, it's said that Janne use the Big muff from russia.. Wich is black actually. Oh and by the way. If you have free time, you could help me out with that sound. (Jens one)

oh he uses the big muff,thats really cool! ive owned the russian one for about 6 years, but i dont have a keyboard. ill have to try it on my friends keyboards.

Well, evrything works perfectly for me and I use an inside patch effect for distortion and it sounds really cool. I've tried with a BOSS but I don't know, I can't get any clear sound.
Edit: Oh and by the way, my lead sounds isn't like Jens or Janne at all, so.

I think ill think about buying a pedal as well.. I can get great sounds from the sonic cell.. I'll have to try it at the music store i guess.
