Converting a .wav with only kick sounds into a midi file.

I've tried a couple of softwares but they all fail..


Anyone has an idea how to do that?

I just need the impulses to put them in ezdrummer..

You can't convert wav into midi... midi is just data.

Unless you mean like taking a kick track and converting that into a midi note track to trigger Battery or something like that?

Use drumagog to trigger the kick into midi notes. Impulses are not the same thing as midi files.

If you use Logic, there is a command that is called Convert to Midi... Just click on a audioregion and use the command. As simple as that, I've used it several times on kickdrums and snares with great results!
