Cool movie festival

So this is for maybe Spiff or anyone else interested in this kinda thing. Just found out about this travelling movie festival they have over here called the 48-Hour Movie Festival.

Basically you get a team together, you show up and are given a few little bits of info about the movie you have to make. You're given 48 hours to make it from scratch and then a few days later they have the world premiere night of all the movies all the different teams made at a big fancy cinema complex. I think you win something if your movie is the judged the best.

The DC one is this weekend and the premiere is next week. My friend's in one of the teams. It's a cool idea! I used to love making movies in my media courses at school.

There was something similar around here not so long ago, called 15in15 or something like that. I think the thing was that you had to make a 15 minute film in 15 hours, but you could make it about anything you wanted, so obviously you could prepare story and locations before that.

It'd be interesting.
