This could be a thread to post cool rap lyrics.
No ridiculously horrendous ghetto stuff or kill whitey shit.
Keep it cool.

edit: and try to keep 1-2 short paragraphs without filling up whole pages to prevent this getting locked.

I've always dug Outkast, Andre and BigBoi flow like no other.

"Elevators" from ATliens

"And he kept askin me, what kind of car you drive, I know you paid
I know y'all got buku of hoes from all them songs that y'all done made
And I replied that I had been goin through tha same thing that he had
True I got more fans than the average man but not enough loot to last me
To the end of the week, I live by the beat like you live check to check
If you don't move yo' foot then I don't eat, so we like neck to neck
Yes we done come a long way like them slim ass cigarettes
From virginia, this ain't gon stop so we just gonna continue"

"Spottieottiedopaliscious" from Aquemini

"When I first met my Spottieottiedopaliscious Angel
I can remember that damn thing like yesterday
The way she moved reminded me of a Brown Stallion
Horse with skates on smooth like a hot comb
On nappy ass hair
I walked up on her & was almost paralyzed
Her neck was smelling sweeter
Than a plate of yams with extra syrup
Eyes beaming like four karats apiece just blindin' a nigga
Felt like I chiefed a whole O of that Presidential
My heart was beating so damn fast
Never knowing this moment would bring another
Life into this world
Funny how shit come together sometimes [ya dig]
One moment you frequent the booty clubs &
The next four years you & somebody's daughter
Raisin' y'all own young'n now that's a beautiful thang
That's if you're on top of your game
And man enough to handle real life situations [that is]"

Def Squad - Countdown

(Keith Murray)

Yeah, nobody rocks harder than this
Closed jaw, stoned face, mic extremist
And, I doubt it
You could kiss my ass and make a love song about it
Cause, I'm 'bout it and their livin' without it
Yeah, winnin' a battle with me, is harder than gettin'
niggaz in jail watchin' Soul Train to turn off the TV
:)lol:)
Lyrical vet
Flippin' twenty-six letters of the alphabet
You talk shit, you deserve what you get
I'm heart-throb, leave you dead as a door-knob
Not a hip-hop cop and not down with the Mobb
Capable of handlin' multiple responsibilities
Simultaneously, with communication capabilities
From high-class to mid-class to low and greedy
I will instantaneously bust an MC
The non-forgetter, hit you with the one hitter, quitter
And make you exercise your shit up, nigga...

Jurassic 5 - A Day at the Races

[Chali 2na]

Yeahhh, your majesty, word flash photography
Third class economy, blade slashed your artery
Nerve gassed anatomy, blurred past dramatically
Herbs hashed, my word splash packed agility
Never predictability
Manouvers of mind fully designed cause I'm true to the rhyme
We do the sublime, crackin yo' backbone
Attackin you wack clones
Vernacular right and exact, capital rap zone
that come back verbal assault rifle (ahhhhh)
We fight like Stokely Carmichael
Nope! We just like you
We broke and ain't no tellin what we might do
Ain't no joke
Provoke the right to reverse to seek mercy
with the King Asiatic and Percy P
Ain't heard the worst of me, until your chest 3-D
Spit venom and burn your body like an STD

De La Soul - Stakes is High

(Dove)

I'm sick of bitches shakin' asses
I'm sick of talkin' about blunts,
Sick of Versace glasses,
Sick of slang,
Sick of half-ass awards shows,
Sick of name brand clothes.
Sick of R&B bitches over bullshit tracks,
Cocaine and crack
Which brings sickness to blacks,
Sick of swoll' head rappers
With their sicker-than raps
Clappers and gats
Makin' the whole sick world collapse
The facts are gettin' sick
Even sicker perhaps
Stickabush to make a bundle to escape this synapse

I find it backward that blacks are allowed to say "my pals" in their lyrics but it would be scandalous if a white were to say it.. :err:

Thats because they are sensitive "little bitches"

myself I prefer the rap of the origional rappers, Hendrix, Zappa and Nugent

Jedi Mind Tricks - Death Messiah

I recognize that given the sins of the father,
I recognize what's built and what stems from the author
Understand man is not a machine
He need a surface and a purpose
And a reason for being
Either way I'm gonna stick with my fam,
Regardless of that's a dream of a ridiculous man
And I'm becoming more indifferent everyday
So naturally all the questions have faded away,
Some of the things that I said I hated to say,
But blame yourself muthafucka you made it this way,
I don't think I would
Even if I was able to stay,
I don't think you could
I would sit to the angels and pray
But everybody gotta deal with they self
If they cut another throat for the material wealth
If it's a problem or humane enough to deal with the health
Or are you destine for the darkness of concealing yourself

I'm tryna deal with the 30 years I spent in prison
Not the physical but cuz of existentialism
I backed myself into a previously dead position
When all I ever had to do was just repent and listen
Why can't everybody leave me alone
I'm the only one who really need to see that I've grown
You ain't smart enough to see what I know
I'd like to stab myself and let me fuckin bleed till I go
But I'm to scared what would happen on the other side
Tryna fight the good; fight how many of us died
I don't know if I trust the people that hang with me
Is it God or is it the big bang theory
I know some really good people and they slang near me
But I don't think that karmically that they should hang really
At thirty years old I don't have peace yet
And I aint get out of the belly of the beast yet

One of their best songs ever IMO, its good to see Vinne Paz show a thoughtful side. Albums not amazing, but its not bad either.

I always thought the same thing. Don't have a clue why blacks do this.

Ethnic groups and minorities taking ownership of racial/homophobic slurs made against them isn't exactly a new thing. Have you lot been living under a rock for 50 years or something?

somehow I dont think thats the point

niger didnt originate as a slur either, not denying thats what it became

I admit to having a pasty white ass and anyone can call me pasty white assed mofo for all I care

What's the point then?

And "pasty white assed mofo" doesn't share any of the connotations that words like "my pals" do, so your comparison fails tbh.

I like this lyric from Kanye West:

I get a call like where are you Yeezy
Try to hit you with a 'Oeur de Whopee'
Till I get flashed by the paparazzi
Damn, these nigga's got me,
I hate these nigga's more than the Nazis.

LOL.
I think 'Nazi' has more negative connotations than 'nigga'.
And I'm sure "sooty, black-assed mofo" would be more offensive than 'nigga' to a black, so I'm concluding that "pasty, white-assed mofo" is higher in offensiveness to a white, than 'nigga' is to a black.

Yeah, the surviving party members should totally get some anti-discriminatory lawsuits happening every time the term is used in a derogatory fashion. LOL.

What the goddamn fuck are you on about? Are you really this stupid or are you just trolling?

Basically any lyric by MF Doom, Madlib or their associated projects (Dangerdoom, Madvillain, Quasimoto)

It's refreshing to hear such an abstract, tongue in cheeck attitude in modern hip-hop.

Oops! I didn't read the 'horrendous ghetto stuff' ...

I'll just say that I like Notorious BIG and leave it at that.

Eminem "Mushrooms"

I went to John's rave with Ron and Dave
And met a new wave blonde babe with half of her head shaved
A nurse aid who came to get laid and tied up
with first aid tape and raped on the first date
Susan - an ex-heroin addict who just stopped usin
who love booze and alternative music (Whattup?)
Told me she was goin back into usin again (Nah!)
I said, 'Wait, first try this hallucinogen
It's better than heroin, Henn, the booze or the gin
C'mere, let's go in here' *knocks on the door*
Who's in the den?'
[Ron:] It's me and Kelly!
[Eminem:] My bad, (sorry) let's try another room
[Susan:] I don't trust you!
[Eminem:] Shut up slut! Chew up this mushroom
This'll help you get in touch with your roots
We'll get barefoot, buttnaked, and run in the woods
[Susan] Oh hell, I might as well try em, this party is so drab
[Eminem:] Oh dag!!
[Susan] What?
[Eminem:] I ain't mean for you to eat the whole bag!

From Bomb The Bass - Bug Powder Dust:

Never been a fake and I'm never phony
I got more flavour than a packet of macaroni
Rock drippin' from my every vowel
I've got the soul of the sixties like Ginsberg's Howl
Shootin' mad ball and I'm always jukin'
Take you to the hole and I'm surely hoopin'
Top of the pops like the Lulu's show
I'll take a walk on Abbey Road with my shoes of soul
I got a splinter though, damn, you know man it hurt
I got a Vegemite sandwich from Men at Work
I keep minds in line, but time sublimes,
So when you search you find something like a gold mine
A psychedelic meanderings in the poem
I got a patter, patter anyplace that I roam
Waiting for the sun on a Spanish caravan
Solar eclipse and I'm feeling like starin' man
