Mostly crustpunk and bands that mixed thrash/death metal in the 80s were labeled as that.

I happen to dig grindcore. Nasum, Pig Destroyer etc. Massive stuff. Also some old shit, but I have a hard time genre-defining, so I rather not drop more names.

I HATE hardcore but for some reason some of the old punk "hardcore" (right now I'm really thinking of Raised Fist) actually appeals to me. I quickly got out of my Dimension Zero phase tho.....thank gawd.
