I can't it doesn't grow 
Sadly I had a hairy problem (pun intended). I had always had beard growing, but never enough to close properly, hence I was never able to grow moustache or a decent beard (not even Lemmy style, even if I tried a couple of times).
So when I had my mane I never tried to grw facial hair (c. 1984)
Years after I was forced (the job) to cut my hair so I tried to grew some beard (c.1992), but never grew properly
and the rest in known
