Could we make using Dropbox mandatory?

And I can't listen to soundclick junk on my iphone...

Dropbox (or direct mp3 link) FTMFW...

So what happened to using the FTP kindly hosted by Kazrog? That makes me doubt that anyone will pay the slightest attention to this 'mandate' - I can't stand Rapidshare or any of that other bullshit, don't get me wrong, but it seems like many in the forum get massive hardons from throwing out (or forgetting about) perfectly valid tools for no apparent reason.

For you windows guys, I have found media player to be much faster than quicktime which I have now begun to hate. You will need to change some settings though. You'll find it will begin playing the second you click the link rather than a few after with a decent connection.

Guess they have their own soundcloud embed tag.

Shame. Think it's a good idea.

I just can't stand those site you have to spend 30 seconds just to find the goddamn download link, which is usually very well hidden so you will read all ads. But yeah dropbox is nice, although any site supporting direct link to the mp3:s are fine too i guess. I just listen to mp3:s/wav:s with embedded quicktime player, if I want to download the files I just use the firefox plugin Download Helper (works on streaming soundclick stuff too).

Main reason I like dropbox is the great drag and drop UI and syncing files between different computers works really good.
