It's called "Guitar Tone Competition IV" What do you think?

Also, read the first post, all the rules are there.
Reamp and process the guitar and bass however you like (no editing though!)
NO master bus processing
The drum fader and master fader must be at 0dB

I will get on it next week.
I tried it already but couldn't get a sound to fit that wasn't "metal".
I would normally use a DSL and orange cab for pop punk stuff but this track isn't pop punk.
Looks like it is gonna have to be 6505 or mesa which sort of defeats the purpose :-(

I've quite struggled with this to be honest. Had another go of re-amping it yesterday so I'll see if I can get anything good and if so I'll submit it.

Had real trouble getting a sound from the guitar DIs.
Were they EQed on the way in?
I did a Logic match EQ against a DI of my Les Paul Standard and got this
Match%20EQ%20to%20LP%20STD.png

Seems like there was almost 10db too much signal at 500-2K and very little above 5k and below 200 on the supplied DIs.
I applied this match EQ setting to all guitar DIs and then it was easy to get a sound from them.
It would be hard to believe that there could be this much difference between the supplied DIs and my LP DI unless they were EQed on the way in or before bouncing.
