Countryman t85 arrived today PLEASE TEST THESE D.I.'s!

they look like they have been limited to hell in my daw is this right?.. and seem more bassy(might be a good thing) please test this D.I. and tell me if its usable!

that wav isnt a DI track, its already amped. render the file without the amp sim so its the clean guitar signal.

There is something wrong with those DI's, I dont know what but they dont
look or sound right.
The waveform looks like it has been heavily limited and the DI sounds
distorted rather than clean.
The problem will not be related to the countryman but will likely be the mic preamp.
Adjust the mic preamp to prevent the limiting is all I can think of.
What mic preamp are you using ?

Have you turned on phantom power of the mic input on the delta 1010lt ?
Maybe the 9v battery in the Countryman's Type 85 is flat.

Ah that' bring up another thing, what kinda pickups- If they are actives and the battery is dead, they do some weird shit.

actives for sure, brought my guitar players 18v mod guitar over and changed the preamp gain setting on the delta. d.i's are fine now! thanks for the input fellas i appreciate it.

you can also actually clip the pickup if its too close to the string
