JUDAS PRIEST HELL BENT FOR LEATHER and MERCYFUL FATE IN THE SHADOWS!!!!! Had to snatch them up while the getting was good. I have been wanting these for a while and always get snaked on ebay so I was stoked. Also got the EDGUY ep..(see other post)

Damn I love metal!

I went through my vinyls last weekend as I want to rid of them, but first wanted to make sure that I make list of the goodies I forgot about before, but certainly need to get on cd:

The one I already received:
Siren - No Place like Home (a bit shitty sound on the cd, but doesn´t really matter)

The ones I ordered yesterday:
Mama´s Boys - Plug it in (anybody know them ?)
Ratt - Invasion ... (well, most of you know and love this one, nothing to add)
Sodom - Mortal Way of Live (with black cover, but I guess the original censorsed cover is not available on CD anyway ... but I have it as vinyl ... maybe I´ll keep that one)

Still to buy on cd (if available):
Malice - In the Beginning
Paganini - Weapon of Love
Stormwitch - The Beauty and the Beast
Saxon - Crusader

I've been on an Yngwie Malmsteen kick lately & won a copy of "Inspiration" off Ebay that arrived a couple of days ago. I'm thinking about getting his last disc War to End All Wars. Don't know much about it, I'm also interested in the new one he has ready... What the name? "Attack?!" Great grabs TVF. Two of the best metal bands of all time!

Yeah, two excellent finds!

I haven't been on an Yngwie kick in a while. My favorite one is Marching Out followed closely by Trilogy. I haven't heard anything really since Fire & Ice except what he played live. I've been thinking of picking up all of his earlier stuff on CD as I have almost nothing of his on disc.

I just won H-Bomb "Coup De Metal" on e-Bay, now I have all their albums:rock:

The Judas Priest reissues are veru good, I have them all.

As for Malmsteen (and being kind of fan), I will say to avoid "War To End All Wars", for that matters is better to try "Alchemy" or "Attack!!". He is not as good as in his first albums, but for a fan is decent neo-classic metal.

Nice! The only thing I have by them is the Axe Killer cd reissue of Attaque, good stuff. How many albums did they put out?

Cool ass band! "The Needles In The Groove" was a killer song. They also did a cover of Slade's "Mama, We're All Crazy Now" BEFORE Quiet Riot did.

Just two LOL. The "Coup De Metal" EP and the LP "Attaque". Both where reissued by Axe Killer, but since the label is defunct finding them is extremely rare, especially the EP.

They had a song called Straight Forward, didn't they? I got that on a compilation, Metal Heavies & Vinyl Treasures, s'good stuff on there.
