covers

Well, since I sincerely hate Udo's vocals, I liked the TM one more. I also happen to like 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' a lot more than the original :D

The last thing I want to do is put down Urban's vocals or the other TM guys' musicianship because I feel Urban is a much more talented vocalist than Udo. Udo was in fact, an acquired taste. I loved the guitars so much in Accept, I learned to accept (pardon the pun) and even admire Udo's vocals over time. However, I never stopped listening to them.
Having said that, in that particular song (and others of course) there is a certain passion that I can't describe that Accept portrayed in the delivery. I think you would have to be a fan to understand. Dargor definitely does, but when a band does a cover, they automatically run the risk of having fans of the original artist being biased.
The TM version is certainly listenable and they far from slaughtered the song, but they didn't capture the "passion" Accept had when they played it.
