im kind of in a bind
i just purchased 5 ddrum triggers for a session that arent even going to fit the guy's drum kit because everything (yes even the toms) are shine drum wooden hoops

i need a non adhesive drum trigger that isnt a peice of crap and will fit these wooden hoops, does anyone know where i can find those?!?!?!

i have about... 3 days to get them to my studio

im sure u could sort it without buying new triggers
try sticking the trigger to the drum using some adhesive or cellotape
try using the mic signal as the trigger signal also (if you are micing it)

If you're close-micing the kit, don't even bother with the triggers on this session. You'll be fine.

Dont know if this will be much help but, I tried to fit a DDrum red shot onto a Tama Rockstar kik drum and the drum itself had a weird plastic ring around the rim that wouldnt allow me to attach the trigger properly so i had to go buy a longer lug from the music store, and had to go to a hardware store and get a spacer made for the lug. it sucked but hey i got it to work. But anyway it was for live use. i normaly just duplicate and replace the toms on a recorded track.
