Im in the midst of creating a rhythm mix in Protools, and I need to take a sample and make an mp3 (like 10 seconds or so) of how its coming along so I can email it to the other guys. How can I do this?
Well to answer... just bounce the section you are trying to make the clip from as a WAV like normal. If you have iTunes you can convert the WAV to MP3, there are many other programs out there, some free some paid, that can convert WAV to MP3 for you as well.
How the hell did it leave a blank space in your mix?
Did you actually chop out the selected area to make a clip of and then not put it back or something?
Just highlight the area you want to make a clip of ... don't take it out and move it around or whatever you did ... then bounce it ... the region you selected will remain unchanged but you'll have your clip wherever you told it to bounce to. Then as 006 said just convert it to an mp3 from whatever program you have that does that and email it
aside from that, how are you creating any kind of mix in PT if you don't even know how to bounce down a clip of a section?
If anyone can gimme a hand...im experiencing alot of small bits of feedback that is hidden in the guitar tracks. What could be causing this? Is there any way to do away with this besides reamping it all over again? Could EQing solve the problem?
I figure that I should reamp it again with less gain, but I like the sound it has.
The DI tracks dont have any feedback on them...im figuring it came with the volume I reamped it with.
I think the problem was maybe you didn't mute the track while recording and that got sent to the amp too? just a guess. Sounds distant, metallic and hollow to me.
