I found these pics on the official Black Sabbath website.

Weird isn't it?

@ Clammy: Bang your head (against the wall) :p The Depeche album is 81, the Sabbath is 83. According to the BS webiste is not plagiarism, each band was absolutely unawere of the other cover until a few weeks ago. You can read the thing on www.black-sabbath.com

@ Fang: fucking awsome! Who came first Shadowman or CoB?

now, which geek has a Depeche Mode album next to a Black Sabbath in his collection to compare them...The world is falling apart..... :Spin:

COB's cover came out first, but I wouldn't blame Ian Parry as he probably didn't know, and he wouldn't be dumb enough to use the cover art of a known band for his solo album.

Damn. I still can't see Wyvern's images. I can see the other cover images though. *shrugs* Must be this browser. Oh well. Interesting story nevertheless. :-)

I personally wouldn't give you a nickel for the whole Depeche Mode collection, but I completely respect them for what they were. The same can be said for Run DMC. I can't stand that rap rock stuff, but they were the first to do it. They were pioneers and the short guy (Run) was a big rock and roll fan as well as a fan of R&B.

I agree. I am not big on Perry's voice, but he is a very well respected and established vocalist......... sweetie.

Well, I'm about the same these days... I respect everyones choice of music. As we know pretty well, our music choice is something pretty important in our live, so you have to respect other people's choice too, as it probably is very important to them too.
Carnut has spoken

But seriously, those are rather similiar covers. I particularly can't blame the wizard ones though, I mean those were COOL!

I should have been a model when I was a toddler up through maybe 10 then I started getting uglier and uglier. :hypno: Now I get scared when I get close to a mirror...... :err:
