Hahaha watch this interview...even the weirdness of Glover is taken aback by the SHEER IDIOCY of the dumb cunt interviewer who doesn't know the difference between Grendel and Beowulf. She spouts off about how Grendel was portrayed as an anti-hero in literature (obviously which she has never read) which confuses Glover, and as wide open as his mind is, he politely has this kind of look on his face which seems to say, "WTF?"

I lol'd when he goes, "Uhhhh, noooooo Grendel was pretty much a straightforward monster in it"

Holy shit the way he talks in such a hesitant fashion, and his voice (MY GOD HIS VOICE IS EXACTLY THE SAME!!!!) and the overall awkwardness in that first video reminds me EXACTLY of a friend of mine that's strung out on Methadone. The only difference is that Crispin isn't falling asleep in the middle of talking and is apparently not very bothered by people he doesn't know. My friend won't even go out in public unless he absolutely has to.

Also, said friend of mine is that smartest human I know. In addition to his Methadone habit, he's also got a Masters in Electronics and brings home a 6 figure income.

The resemblance in the way these two people act and talk is actually a bit frightening.

Not sure what year it came out but Rubin and Ed is a great movie about Crispin Glover taking his dead cat to be buried in sacred ground, hard to find but it's worth the effort
