Critique my melodic hardcore clip please

I've been trying and trying at this mixing thing and can't tell if I'm on to something or not. I mainly do instrumentals and decided to vocals today just to test mix, so if the vocals suck please keep in mind I'm not a vocalist. I just want my mixes to sound full and heavy so any advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still having issues tweaking the precise frequencies and all that but I mean for the most part, I'm trying to find significant key things that are lacking. I was intending on boosting the bass a little. It's just hard when I have assbackwards headphones that aren't giving me 'true sound' or whatever.
