cryptopsy tomorrow

If Flo dosent play solos at the shows I see him, I will implode. Although since im seeing them 3 times, I think I have a good chance of seeing at least one solo, then I can die happy.

I don't know what show the original post was referring to, but I just got back from the Philadelphia show.

...the man's not even funny anymore... he makes you feel untalented and unimportant :(

My friend and I used to jam on Phobophile, I don't think I can ever play that song again now.

And I'm not sure if I regret not having eaten a worm.

yeah my friend is a pretty darn good drummer and flo is his idle, after seeing that solo he was ready to cry and quit drums haha

Yea. Flo is, and probably will remain, my number one influence and idol. When his instructional DVD comes out im going to lock myself in a room and study it for months. I can play alot off of BMF and NSV but sometimes Ill try to learn a fill or beat hes doing and just sit there with my mouth open, hitting repeat trying to comprehend it. My bands covering Open Face Surgery now too.

woot leaving for cryptopsy now, ill post how it went here if im not too tired when i get back

NP: Cryptopsy - Defenestration (they better play it this time :D)

The worst part is that the cd versions are actually easier. Live they play everything faster and he throws in more cymbals and fills, as if that were possible.

set list same as last time, finally met eric (my idol) before the show and got my pic with him. it was NYC so really couldn't meet anyone else again only met him cause he stepped out for a smoke.
flo did another drum solo and it was even better than the last, and this time lord worm ate live worms and also fed them to people in the crowd, couldn't believe fans were actually eating them haha
skinless was fucking great too, lead singer is insane was kicking people and went in the pit. got the setlist he was using on a napkin he threw down when he finished
craziest show ive ever been too the bodyguards couldn't keep people off the stage so people were jsut running up there and jumping off whenever they wanted.
got kicked in the head and stepped on multiple times cause i was right against the stage =P

A couple years ago i went to a show headlined by Hatebreed (i went for shadows fall and six feet under). That was honestly the most violent show ive ever been to. This may just be a hardcore thing, but the entire floor was one huge mosh pit, which would be fine if it wasnt for the karate kid style hardcore dancing. My theory is that the music of Hatebreed (and most hardcore for that matter) is so bad that their fans try to put each other out of their misery.

Surely six feet under brought blankets and pillows for everyone during their set.
