So today I was working on a project where I tracked 4 songs in one. I was starting to mix so I did a Save as for each song and deleted the extra songs and I even saved the main project. Whenever I go to open any of those files I get a message saying "the cache file for "track name" frozen channel could not be found.

Now theres no audio. The meters are still going up and down like normal but theres no sound coming out. I opened up other old projects and they play with no problem. I looked in my "freeze" folder that cubase made and its empty but I never touched that folder. I even checked in the recycle bin and theres nothing.

Has anyone had this problem before?

I have seen this occur when:

a save contains a frozen file
said frozen file is unfroze
there is a crash w/o save OR a backup save is opened that had this file frozen

basically the cache audio got deleted. In my case this occurs with midi stuff so i just have to re-freeze the file.
