Can I run an audio interface alongside a midi interface at the same time in Cubase, or do I have to use whatever midi is on the audio interface?

So like,

audio interface outs = to FOH
midi interface out1 = to amp/pedal switcher
midi interface out2 = to DMX controller

You can literally use as many midi interfaces as you want, but you can only use one audio interface at once.

For example the fallowing ports currently show up in cubase for me:

Mbox 2 midi I/O
firepod midi I/O
Toneport UX2 midi I/O (although these are not traditional ports)
Nanokey input (via usb)
Keysation 88 pro inputs 1 and 2 and outputs 1

If I wanted I could be recording midi from all 6 of these ports at the same time in cubase.

But I can't run the UX2, firepod and mbox2 at the same time for audio stuff. Ya dig?

word, thanks man. I knew you couldn't use two audio interfaces at once of course, just wanted to make sure that same rule didn't apply to midi.
