CUBASE GROUP CHANNEL

Look guys I noticed you link your recorded (guitar) tracks to a group channel in which you add eq and eq all the tracks the same in this group channel.

I tried it at home and I do eq them within one channel, but I can still hear those other original tracks playing and I can't mute them. They're fuckin' with the sound

You must be using an aux(FX channel)... a group channel in Cubase shouldn't be playing the original tracks.

you're using a send of an audio channel, rather that pointing it's output to the group.

Open the mixer (F3), above the fader of your audio you can see the output of the track, set it to the group channel.
