Cubase user needs an USB hub for MBP

Alright, I need an usb hub to be used with my Mac Book Pro, I need it for Pace iLok dongle, Steinberg eLisencer dongle and a mouse, so 3-4 ports is enough. I currently have this "Micro One" hub that doesn't work properly, it disconnects itself from time to time for some reason. So, any suggestions?

I was in need for the same thing for quite some time. The other day I found out that they have them cheap at an office depot store ("Pagro", might be around in Finland, dunno). They are quite expensive in computer stores. Anyway I picked up a 4-port passive Hub. It's sold by this company: www.ednet-gmbh.com. Cost me € 4,99. Just installed it. Cubase dongle and two USB drives go to the hub, logitech mouse and Steinberg CI2 on the laptop. So far it works great and I have another spare port on my laptop and the hub.

I ALWAYS have problems with passive hubs. OSX always says the computer couldnt supply enough power to the peripherals, or ends up disconnecting randomly.

I have a belkin powered one. Works fine with my mac. As long as it's powered and not some cheap 10 dollar hub I think you should be fine going with anything really.

Okay, I remembered that I bought an USB hub for my mother but she never uses it as she said that "it doesn't work". Well, I tried it out, and she was right; The port that she used for mouse IS broken, but all the other three worked, so I just snatched it and put my dongles there (two iLoks and the eLicencer)

Not the most elegant solution, but it works.
