Speaking of new music.. has anyone tried Warrel Dane's solo album? There's some pretty amazing vocal work on it even though the Soilwork touch on the guitars kills some of it

Listening to it right now for the first time. The myspace song ruled big-time, great chorus.
I think the whole mix doesn't sound really good, but the music is good, so far

"Let You Down", "Messenger" and "When We Pray" all have great choruses. Too bad "Messenger" has some of the worst overt shit riffs I've heard since last time I stumbled upon n'flaymz or soilwork

Hehe, I can stand it ;P

Ok, I'm now at the 5th song. The whole mix sounds pretty empty, but I love the songs, really strong chorusses.
Makes me think Warrel has a pretty big hand in writing Nevermore's music

yeah the choruses sound crazy much like his best nevermore work, which I really like. this makes me want another nevermore record more than anything else
