what commercials has their music been in then?? Sorry my Publix does not play anything but elavator music so unless they play THAT, I have NOT heard them in MY grocery store!!!

I can't remember off the top of my head. I do remember hearing one of their songs in Entourage though.
I worked at Publix when I was in high school. Those soundtracks are SO REPETITIVE. Made me hate every single song that played.

I don't know if this band really fits into another genre other than maybe jazz or jazz fusion, but Zappa Plays Zappa would be another in terms of tickets. Obviously it would difficult to assess "best selling" in terms back catalog CDs purchased due to ZPZ as opposed to Frank himself.

wtf?? I didn't realize you would get so worked up about something like this. I don't even consider myself a fan really. Haven't listened to them in a long long time. It's not unreasonable though to expect somebody to have heard their music though when they have songs in movie trailers and TV shows.

Um... Are Muse and Britney in the same style? Is Britney a "MUSICIAN"? Not that I know of.

Considering that he doesn't seem to have heard the band and formed his opinion on a one-sentence Wikipedia (or something) description, then I don't know how he can make any sort of worthwhile statement/comparison.
I was the same way about metal vs. other music. When I was 13.

Also, if you've listened to the Dream Theater track Never Enough you've heard Muse. It might as well be a cover of their song Stockholm Syndrome

Funny thing is that Portnoy and Petrucci have said in the past that Muse became somewhat of an influence in the recent DT albums.
