I agree that the songs heard over the webcast weren't as thrash as their older shit, but sounded cool anyway...
geee... that sounds scary, Officer. I don't know if I want (am brave enough) to hear this music, after reading your "recommendation" . I'd rather not have anything shoved up my arse... even (or especially?) metalBLAZE RAMS THE METAL DOWN YOUR THROAT AND SHOVES IT UP YOUR ARSE!!!

Now that sounds better. I might give it a try. In fact, I quite liked his voice on Virtual XI and just thought he and the band didn't fit together. Is the music anything like Maiden or it's something completely different?Blaze is taking names, kicking much arse and crushing skulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, but i heard hisnsolo material and i heard that those songs are written for him , but i like versatile singer who can reach more notes than just one sorryOfficer Friendly said:I was waiting anxiously for a post of this nature.
YES!!! Blaze sucked with Iron Maiden...it's called who wrote the songs
in the keys that Blaze doesn't sing in....Hello?...did this possibility ever
enter your mind? I bet not.
It's called who produced the albums and made Blaze sound like that.
Did that thought ever enter your mind? I bet not.
I agree with you, I feel the same way...but there are logical reasons to
explain why Blaze didn't sound good. Lots of them.
HOWEVER, and that's a BIG however, recall where I mentioned in this
thread where I said the best thing Blaze ever did was leave Iron Maiden
because he got better.
The Blaze solo material:
1. Silicon Messiah
2. The Tenth Dimension
3. As Live As It Gets
4. Blood And Belief
are nothing short of fucking really good metal. Blaze has a really talented
band and if I'm not mistaken, Andy Sneap has done some of the production.
You'd be stupid to hold onto old judgements like the one you expressed and
not listen to what Blaze has been doing for 5 or 6 years. I don't care either way.
You shouldn't think that what Blaze is doing >without< Iron Maiden is the same
as what he did do with them. That's just ridiculous.

Barlow ex iced erath is ten thousands better!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hotjump:
and yes the band is killer , but with a killer singer that band will be awesome

Larf03 said:My two cents... Blaze Owns but doesn't have vocal range... does that make him a bad singer? HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLL NO!!!
Limited vocalist can be verstil in their own way you know... take blaze for exemple... He manages to do some pretty fuckin kickass shit with only one note... THAT'S VERSATILITY!!!!!!!!!
