D.I.Y Guys

I'm looking into building some D.I.Y comps and pres but I know its a long road ahead!

I've been on various forums and already have a lot of reading material ahead of me but just wanted to get some opinions and advice off you guys that have already built your own outboard stuff

My electrical component skills/knowledge is VERY minimal so I'm trying to find an easy place to start reading and working on something small i.e cables and DI boxes

Any help of advice would be great!

Build the LINE2AMP Reamp box. Easy build.

Try a couple pedal kits? Build or mod a tubescreamer/ compressor pedal... Then when you can solder well move up to some other junk.
