Anwidasoft Reverb DX Lite - It's free... PC (VST). The Anwidasoft Website is down, though. They might be out of the game completely now. If you can't find it, I probably have an installer on a DVD somewhere. Let me know, and I'll see if I can dig it up.
It's been a couple years since I've been on a PC and used these, but I remember both of these being pretty trashy, like D-Verb!

I use Freeverb 2 as my Dverb clone. It's not as versatile, because you only get a few controls to play with, but damn.. it just sounds great on metal drums.

Get freeverb 2 then, seriously.
I like ArtsAcoustic as well, but IMO it's for different purposes. I use it on pristine, longer verbs, like for vocals, synths, acoustic instruments. It's not really dirty enough to work on drums that well. My opinion of course.

+1, after hearing your praise for Freeverb 2, I downloaded it to check it out and daaamn, you were right dude!
It's perfect for gritty metal-type drum reverb ala Sneap. Simple to set up to, just a few controls for room size and high-low pass filters, and you're good to go!

first off Silverspike is awesome. though I've used the demo of the reverb.it plug in (gonna buy it soon).
if you wanna work with a more complex reverb plug in and want something that is compatible with 192khz sample rate, i recommend Wavearts' Masterverb.

do you use the presets??? If so, which ones for snare and toms ??
No... I just built one from the ground up with a cut in the lows and emphasis on the high mids for cut. It's a bigger room, about 1.7 seconds decay.

I just downloaded it and am using it on toms and snare for my current project in the studio.........I'm blown away!!! Absolutely the best verb for drums I've used yet!:Smokin: I'll post a clip later on in my process.

Haha awesome. Freeverb's takin off. I'm still using it on a ton of projects, both metal and not... and it's still my fave drum verb. It'd be so awesome if someone would take over the project and create more algorithms and controls for it.

I'm loving freeverb2... definitely the best drum verb I've used.
