Dallas Rollcall

I'm new here in this forum (and to Dallas), but will definitely go to the concert. This is my first concert ever, I lived in Puerto Rico and we don't get metal bands down there. So for about a month I've been/am freaking out knowing I'm going to see one of the best bands in existence!

Eeek.

I didn't buy a ticket online because I wasn't sure that I was going, and now the ticketing website says that the pre-sale is sold out. Does that mean I can't get tickets at the door???? How big is Trees?

And Babetee, I think the SHOW starts at 7 but Opeth starts at around 8.

shit dude that sucks if you arent able to get a ticket. Thats why I bought mine online last week because I didnt want to not be able to get one at the door. surely you can still get one though. I havent been there in probably 6 months though so its kind of hard to rememberhow big it is. it has a upstairs, but think you have to be 21 to go up there. Its a decent size place I guess, but its not huge.

No, they aren't sold out. I'm sure you wont have any trouble getting a ticket. My friend went to it last year and I believe it was on a thursday and he said there were like 50 to 100 people there. I would be surprised if you arent able to get one.

I'll be the one in Corpse Paint. :ill:

*cough*

I'll probably end up in my 'Diabolus on Tour' Slayer shirt. Feel free to say hi.

mapquest never seems to be accurate, but guess I will have to use it. according to mapquest it will take me like an hour and 40 minutes to get there. I was like yeah, if I'm driving 50 the whole way. Hopefully the actual directions will be right though. I'm horrible with directions, but my fiance will be the one driving so I have nothing to worry about. I'm scared to drive in Dallas.

What West End are you talking about that's going to take you an hour and 40 minutes to get to if you're driving 50? It's more like it will take you an hour and 40 if you are driving 5. And don't be scared of driving in Dallas, it's pretty easy. You just have to know maybe 6 streets (3 east-west and 3 north-south) and then remember which ones are one way and what direction they point in. For example, from the West End you would not be able to take Elm as it is one way in the wrong direction. You could take Main or Commerce though. Once you drive it a few times it's easy. Plus getting to Deep Ellum from the West End is pretty easy, there are also signs up.
