Damage Done

After buying two Dark Tranquillity CD's, HAVEN and PROJECTOR I had to have one more. And a couple of days ago I bought DAMAGE DONE.

This one floored me! Compared to the other Dark Tranquillity CD's I have, this one was quite heavier. Not like a few notches heavier, but REAL heavy! And I could hear the passion in their playing. Not that there wasn't emotion in HAVEN, and most certainly not PROJECTOR, but this one was a steamroller! I love it and can't wait to listen some more!

I hope that my local record store will have the early Dark Tranquillity CD's in soon.

Damage Done has been described as a mix between Haven and The Mind's I, and I agree with that description. So perhaps instead of buying The Gallery next, you should go with The Mind's I?

Eventually you will buy all of the albums, it's inevitable.

And when I do own them all, I will be quite happy. And thank you for the recommendation. I don't really think I can go wrong from this point if I did all three of my Dark Tranquillity CD's.

www.theendrecords.com is a good bet for finding the rest of the cds. I highly recommend them, have bought over 50 cds from them.

And the cool thing about the U.S. version of THE MIND'S I is that it also contains the ENTER SUICIDAL ANGELS four song set on one CD! Outstanding!

I didn't know that. I just have the standard cd and the promo of it . I will take a picture of my DT collection some time and post it.

That's cool. I know some fans like to have all of the CD's, mini CD's, and all of that. I don't mind having a CD containing an LP and EP. Like In Flames' first two releases. I think they're great.

I really only collect DT stuff nowadays. And I much prefer the separate releases because it just feels better you know?

Well, it looks like three CD's...the SKYDANCER/CHAOS CD, the MIND'S I/ENTER SUICIDAL ANGELS CD, and the GALLERY CD (which I heard is beyond awesome). Something great to look forward to!
