I love the acoustic passages in this song, i love egyptian and arabic ideas...

Spiral Architect - Cloud Constructor

...Basically, i love the ending of this song for the same reason. These guys are amazing guitarists, the arabic-style ending to Cloud Constructor is mind-boggling, very trippy. (listen to it LSDman, you'll understand..!)

Iced Earth - Dracula

...I must confess, as as much as i have professed how much i hate 'HORROR SHOW', there is some awesome work on the cd. Dracula and Im-Ho-Tep are especially favourite.

Spiral Architect - Insect

...I love all the flamenco guitaring breaks in this, (yeah, they're all stolen from AL Di Meola, but they are still effective and cool!). Also, i love the growling attempt by the singer at the end. Ha ha, "Just boost up the echo, and i'll speak in a really deep voice... that'll to the trick" )

Death - Pull the plug.

I hate the lyrics.

I'm not exactly sure why they made a song called 'IMHOTEP' ... when the song is about the story of ISIS raising OSIRIS from the dead.

Imhotep isn't even part of it.

I think The Phantom Opera Ghost is the best song on that CD, but the ones you mention are also great. Add Wolf and Damien to that list.

OK.. Now there are most of the songs mentioned here. Not so bad album after all?
Also, I like that Frankenstein is not very typical IE song.

Damien rocks hardest on that album though.. One of the best intro's ever.
