Im in class listen to the new cd :loco: From Her Beautiful Eyes:

Gazing into her eyes, the light gleams
Reflecting in shades of color I can’t imagine
Feeling her tender limp body pressed firmly
Weeping at the beauty of her lost innocence
Devouring the last of her ovaries
A tear drips from my eye lamenting the loss

Wow! Insane fucken lyrics man, and god "darkness is comfort" is so fucking sick too o man. Haha you can tell i just got the cd :hypno:

Edit: U better come to Jaxx in VA! I know it sux and Jay the head guy is a huge coke head but ah....:p

that is an old ass song of ours that we never recorded, but should have been on our first release The Thoughts From Which I Hide. For some reason, it was left out of that album.

By the way, I'll take the credit for Alone In Your Presence, hehe.

What in the.. haha thats Bjorn song doods. I did Spirit of The Soldier (solo/John) and What Could Go Wrong (split solo John/Bjorn) Everything is labeled in the cd layout. Her Beautiful Eyes still ties in with this new album since it relates to the Catholic church in a way, and the reality of pedophilia, thus making it part of the problematic issues in this world.

one of the things i love about the lyrics is how Nathan incoporates phrases, lines, or words that you would never think to put in a metalsong, but work so well
"Time For a Commercial Break, Stick Around
Time For a Commercial Break, We'll be Right back"

Yeah I thought that too, Spirit of the Soldier is an ode to all the soldiers out fighting the war right now, also reminds me of my friend Adam Gill whom passed away and burried in his Vehemence shirt cause I was writing the song around the time that happened and around the same time he came over from time to time.

I never really had some one pass away that was a hang out buddy. Just hit me like a ton of bricks with some new emotions, which I used to influence me writing the solo.
thats really sad man
but u know, it must of been an opening, u probably would never have experienced the emotions to "feel" the solo had he not passed away
well, i think i speak for all of us here, hahah us fans are good mates!
and i think the rest of ur band, nathan and bjorn and mark and andy will be able to back u up, no matter what the problem is
lol jesus christ, i sound liek a fucking counsiller... fuck i hate councillers!

Lyrically Spirit of the Soldier is an image I had of the feeling our brothers and sisters in arms must have felt marching into Baghdad. The dying Soldiers represent what I felt the Iraquis must have been going through upon the Americans arrival....
Wrapped up in my own angry mental snapshot which I'll never forget.
