Dan Swano

I'm not talking about his projects edge of insanity, Bloodbath, or night in gales but I speak of his solo project.

For anybody not familair with his solo stuff it is progressive metal with death metal vocals with clean vocal's. I got his album today called " moontower" and it's amazing. In fact the best decription i can give for anyone not familair with this cd remind me musically of Ayreon and Star one with extreme death metal vocals. Dan plays all the instruments himself too. I however don't know if the clean vocals he has is enough to qualify him for Glenn's oddball slot though. anyways i urge everyone to check out his stuff.

fyi its not Night In Gales. that's another band. Dan's is Nightingale.

Moontower is indeed amazing, as is everything else he's done.

I like Swano. He's a talented, creative guy. But his PPII performance was hands down, the most boring performance I've ever seen. You just can't go on stage with sheet music.
